Lost in the Rhythm (LITR) began during lockdown — late-night sessions streamed online, a red light, two hours of vinyl and MP3s, no mic, no hype, just soulful storytelling through sound. Founded by London DJ, broadcaster and creative Rob Coley, the project traces its roots to early-2000s NYC parties like Body & Soul and Shelter, and to record store pilgrimages that shaped a lifelong ear for deep, spiritual house.
2024 saw the launch of Lost in the Rhythm Records — a natural evolution of the platform's vision to bridge generations, preserve culture, and create space for the next wave of deep house storytellers.
